The Davis School District Student Art Exhibition showcases the artwork of high school and junior high students in Davis County, Utah.
Being a part of this show gives students the opportunity to display their artwork in a public gallery space and be part of a professionally juried show. Each student will be able to submit up to three (3) pieces of art. Before submitting artwork, each student artist is required to set-up a profile with ArtCall.org. Click on the Register and Apply button to create your account and submit your artwork. You are able to attach up to three (3) images of each artwork. The first image you attach will be the primary image the judges see. If you need additional help, please watch the YouTube video linked at the bottom of this page.
IMPORTANT DATES
Applications open: March 1, 2024
Applications are due: March 10, 2024 (at midnight)
Artists are notified: March 13, 2024 via email
Art Drop-off: Sat. March 23 noon-4 pm, Mon. March 25 9:30am-2:30pm, Tues. March 26, 10am-6pm
Juror makes award decisions: April 1-4, 2024
On view: April 10, 2024 – May 4, 2024
Opening reception at Bountiful Davis Art Center Wednesday, April 10, 2024 @ 6-8pm
(awards will be announced at 7pm)
GUIDELINES
● Each student may submit up to three (3) pieces of art. All 2-D art must be framed
and ready to be hung. Please attached D-rings and wire to all 2-D art to make it compatible with our hanging system.
● Study-work (copying from artists or photographs) is acceptable with proper credit.
● Art work must be delivered to the Bountiful Davis Art Center between Friday,
March 25, 10 am-6 pm and Saturday, March 30 from 12 pm-5pm. Bountiful Davis Art Center, 90 North
Main Street, Bountiful, UT.
● Artists will be asked to fill-out a loan form upon drop-off. Late artwork will not be
accepted.
● Art pick-up dates are Monday, May 7th from 12-5 pm and Tuesday, May 8th
10 am-6 pm.
AWARDS
There will be one Best of Show Award given. Additionally, the judge will also select 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and Honorable Mention winners in the
following categories:
Painting
Drawing
Ceramic
Sculpture
Jewelry
Photography
Digital Media
